I had this game on ps1 too many years ago to remember, and I wanted to play it again. I bought a ps1 version (this time in English and not in Italian, my native language) and... believe me, if you've already played this game you HAVE to buy this version.
It might mess up a bit with your screen's resolution, but rightclicking the .exe and checking the 640x480 checkbox should make it run with little issue. It's a great point&click graphical adventure totally worth playing, which will take you some hours and in my opinions they are (no spoiler) hours well spent. This game is amazingly well made in every aspect, at least for its time: to this day, you might find it a bit pixelated but it won't be too much of an issue if you like retrogaming.
Side note, compared to the ps1 version this version DOES NOT HAVE that awful loading time of a few seconds between EVERY click, and this is a HUGE deal. It makes the game ten times more enjoyable. And it's also way funnier to play it with your mouse... like on ps1, but I don't know anyone who bought the ps1 specific mouse back then, lmao.
I don't know what else to say without spoilering, play it and you won't regret it.
