The story and art direction of this game are fine, however the visuals cues, an important element of any point and click game, are poor. Collectable items and interactable objects are often hard to spot and/or blend in too much with the background, turning seemingly simple tasks and needlessly obtuse ones. There are certainly better point and click puzzle games out there for those who are interested.

Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy is a piece of interactive art. It’s a quiet, thoughtful, and emotionally resonant experience. It’s less about "winning" and more about absorbing a strange and beautiful story.
