It is defenetly worth to play for the story. The classes are also fun to play for the first time. The fights and late dungeons are cinematic. They are generally fun.

Many people, including me, begin to notice the games issues only when reaching endgame (no more story). Content of new patches is predictable and its not enough. Raid tiers continue for too long. The devs can at times be disconnected from the community, or so it feels like atleast. Many people mod in this game, which i personally find to be annoying. But thats preference i guess.
Still, the community tends to be on the nicer end, with people being very new player friendly and helping out alot.
But many people only log in when there is some new content, maybe 1 or 2 patches or a new expansion. Many problems I only noticed a lot when I played this game multiple hours every day.
If you never played before you will have alot of content, the free trial includes base game and 2 expansions. You will have alooot of content before you even have to sub. So i defenetly recommend it. Its still a very good game.

Boss I'm tired (of the constant ddos attacks)

Getting kicked offline every hour and a half.. Ppl say it's ddos attacks. My datacenter is the only one affected. Losing materials from crafts and having to restart dungeons that take 45 mins to clear. Sucks alot.
