Tyranny of Dragons-DM Mike

The Companions of the Silver Chalice are a group of adventurers who were formed in response to the Dragon Cult crisis of 1489DR. They were founded by Lord Ildar Drakebiter, a Knight of the Order of the Silver Chalice and a descendent of Lady Siamorphe of Waterdeep. The group consists mostly of non-nobility which is unusual do to the fact that Siamorphe’s domain exclusively encompasses nobility. However, Lord Ildar was able to convince Siamorphe that the current crisis will affect the very foundations of nobility in the realm and that the god's patronage would be needed in guiding the adventurers that have been working with him. Hearing the value of Lord Ildar’s words the demigod responded in kind becoming the patron for the group’s efforts, giving them their new title and gracing them with the blessing of the Silver Chalice.
The tenants of the group are simple and are mediated through Lord Ildar. Basically, they are to work towards the ending of the current Dragon Cult Crisis. At the same time by being responsible for their actions and being courageous if it’s called for. In addition, they are to keep the obligations of the Companionship in mind, even when those obligations interfere with their personal desires.
