VFX+

VFX+ is a mod that aims to remake much of Terraria’s visual effects from the ground up Without Impacting Functionality.

The mod currently reworks the VFX (and often SFX too) of nearly every single Mage weapon, with other classes and changes coming in the future.

Every individual weapon change can be turned on or off via the config, so feel free to disable any you don’t like.

VFX+ should be compatible with most mods (Yes, including Calamity), just don’t expect it to play nice with anything that heavily reworks vanilla weapons.

Multiplayer is untested at this point but should be mostly fine, although ALL players will need the mod enabled.

The current plans for VFX+’s content are as follows (subject to change):
Mage (Complete) → Ranger (In Progress) → Melee → Summoner → Misc (i.e. accessories and enemy projectiles)
