Dredge is a delightful experience. Ever since the first moments you set sail to the last moments uncovering the secrets of the deep, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. Most fishing games I've played have been your standard cozy and chill experiences. But Dredge is a breath of fresh salty air. The panic mechanic incentivizes you to plan your trips and make sure you have enough time to get back before the fog rolls in. The abberations of the many fish allow for replayability and if you are going for 100%, expect about 20 hours of gameplay. I would highly recommend this game to anybody, whether that be new enjoyers of the fishing genre, or people who have played many fishing games before.
