Despite having a low hours (currently 13 hours as we speak), it is honestly one of my favorite games. I would LOVE to replay the beta version, and I'm glad I got to play it. Being able to test the combat system, the mechanics, and the physics, and seeing the enemies for the first time was honestly amazing. I will FINALLY write a review for this wonderful, beautiful game.

NOW! ONTO THE LORE!!

In Spiritfall, you take the role of OmenForged, a warrior of unknown origin, who was chosen by divine forces to fight a corruption called "Blight", and the Blight threatens the world's balance. The Spirits also infused him with a sacred mask, which grants him access to powerful abilities, making their duty to travel to a place called "The Brink", basically unsealing the gate that has been closed between different realms, and your goal is to restore the balance of the divine. Throughout your journey and experience, there are these powerful entities from a realm beyond who can grant you blessings that can shape your combat strategy throughout each run, and they're basically spirits that embody your elemental power. Here are the names of these spirits and the allies that help you.

NOTE: THESE ARE THE SPIRITS THAT HELP YOU.
Sharbora: A Deer Who's The Guardian Of Nature, Who's Focusing On Survivability
Kelumin: A Fox Who's The Howling Moon, That Bursts Damages And Critical Potential
Solesh: A Bird Who's The Everlasting Sun, That Does Damage Over Time And Status Effects As Well.
Navolik: A Bunny Who Speed and Mobility (the only thing I can find from them..)
Mishved: A Bear Who Can Crowd Control and Slow the Enemies.
Yamhas: A Sea Horse Who from the deep ocean can knock back and do a Combo Setup as well?
: Zalvoon: A Racoon, Who's The Herald Of A Nightfall, And Can Do Confusion And Trickery As Well.

NOTE THESE ARE THE ALLIES THAT ARE AT THE SANCTUARY

The Mediary: communicates with the spirits and sets the world changes that help the Omenforged, (Guides Story)
Runesmith and Kid: Fater-Amd-Son weapon crafter duo that's found near the Sanctum, can restore AND even upgrade weapons using the Combat Runes as well.
Tipp: Just a resident of the sanctum (also have lots of lore from knowledge, that offers context about regions, enemies and spirits as well. They also give hints about hidden mechanics as well.)
ShopKeeper: The Shopkeeper sells Resources, Consumables, and somtimes Blessings for Dust
Relic Tinkerer: Offers Upgrades and Purchases for Relics ONLY.
Yara, The Herbalist: She sells a lot of healing items, potions, and upgrades (she also supports your survivability in future runs as well).
Damu Yara’s companion / pet turtle: Mostly flavor/companionship, but adds charm and personality to the Sanctuary.
Shrine Keepers: they are to maintain the flame shrines, enhancements to weapons using Essence and it also Serve as a presence in the hub as well :D.

In your journey, you uncover past civilizations and conflicts (like The Burrows). The regions were once home to mining operations that sparked war with the giants, and they left behind decaying buildings. It's basically giving the world a layered, lived-in history.

Now, onto why it makes it a fantastic game. Spiritfall is very inspired by both Super Smash Bros. and Rivals Of Aether and Brawlhalla, and it's AMAZING to play if you really love games like that. There is a total of 160+ blessings from each spirit, multiple weapons to unlock and evolve as well, and you're constantly experimenting with builds from the spirits that they give you. If you're asking, "Oh, these Divine Spirits are bonuses to help us," NO! YOU ARE WRONG! They define your playstyle and make your run feel more unique. Your death in Spiritfall isn't a punishment; it's a part of a growth loop, and you return to the sanctum, getting stronger each time with upgrades, new abilities, and better gear. That's what the loop keeps you hooked on and makes you improve.

LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP

Lollipop Chainsaw Repop is essentially a remake of the classic 2012 game "Lollipop Chainsaw," initially developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE).

Might be asking, "What is this game about?" You start as Juliet Starling, an 18-year-old cheerleader at San Romero High School who is a zombie hunter (her family is a zombie hunter as well). On the morning of her birthday, while on her way to school, a zombie outbreak begins, and it affects her school. She's armed with a pink chainsaw and cheerleader acrobatics as well, and you're set to stop the undead invasion. You may think she's alone, but she isn't. Juliet has a boyfriend, who is Nick (Carly?), and he ends up decapitated during the outbreak due to him being infected, and Juliet decapitates him to survive. Juliet keeps his still-living, talking head alive with a magical ritual that she performs, and he becomes her sidekick throughout the game. You end up meeting her sister, Cordelia, who loves using snipers; Rosalind, a reckless and energetic girl who helps her fight zombies; and their father, Gideon Starling, a wise hunter who has trained and prepared his daughters. It is revealed that a goth outcast student named Swan used dark magic to open a rift between Earth and Rotton World (A.K.A. Zombie World). He summons five zombie lords who are inspired by different music genres that people listen to, and these bosses are chaotic and rebellious.

There is Zed, a punk rocker (who is Vulgar and fast-talking).
Vikke, a Viking Metal (that is very brutal, but he's also theatrical in a way)
Mariska—She's Psychedelic Rock (who's a hippie that hypnotizes people.)
Josey—Funk (groovy and electrical type of guy)
Lewis Legend—Glam Rock (He's flashy and bold and is an egotistical type of guy).

Overall, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is genuinely a good game, with its humor blending with American high school tropes and horror movie clichés, and the best part of it (if you love blasting/hearing music) is that music plays a huge part, with licensed tracks and even genre-themed fights as well.
