It’s been a while since my last review, but I couldn’t skip this one, because this game—and the team behind it—actually means a lot to me. The former Telltale Games developers have outdone themselves yet again with a choice-driven adventure that mixes in a bit of the This Is the Police formula.

At first, I thought it was going to be another generic superhero slop. However, I ended up fascinated by how simple the story and lore are, yet how real the characters felt. Their struggles and friendships actually matter depending on how you play and how you shape your own story.

Can you believe the game took me around 8 hours to beat? And yet it felt like a wild ride of emotions, humor, deep thoughts, and rich storytelling. It’s all here.

+ Visually, the game is fantastic. The art design has a Western-anime feel, very colorful, and the animation is top-notch.
+ The main gameplay mechanic is a dispatching mini-game where you order your team to save cats from trees, remove pollution or fires from the streets, etc., plus interactive videos with meaningful choices. (I love this gameplay style from This Is the Police.)
+ The story is straightforward, but the character interactions shine. I never expected to be this impressed by in-game conversations with the main cast. Nobody sucks—everyone is S-tier.
+ The music is great, covering many genres. One of the songs in the game even inspired the composer to create more music. It doesn’t get more wholesome than that. Even some of the unlicensed tracks became personal favorites.

– I love this game; HOWEVER, if a sequel comes out, I’d like a few things to change or be removed altogether:
The hacking mini-game didn’t impress me—it was really easy and boring. A large portion of the game uses prerecorded video instead of in-game models. And the osu-style rhythm segments were also pretty dull.

Other than that, I wish I could forget the game just to experience it again. It really was that darn good.

+ Music is great, it has many genres, one of the song in the game actually gave author a will to make more music, couldn't be wholesome that that, some of the songs even unliscenced became my favorites
- I love this game, HOWEVER, if sequel comes out, I want some stuff changed or removed all together: hacking mini game didn't impress me, was really easy and boring, big portion of the game are literally video files, no ingame models, the OSU minigames were boring

Other than that, wish i could forget the game to play it again, it was really that darn good.
