Ever since 3.2, hunters are no longer considered casters, despite still having a mostly caster gameplay style. 3.2 changed mana to focus, shifting the hunter experience to one of timing and resource management, rather than repetitive rotations with no major dynamism other than changing to aspect of the viper when below 20% mana. yet the legend lives on and hunters to this day can still be seen wearing mana and intellect focused items.
