My best friend gifted me this game and I was going into it with a full expectation for it to be a more janky dark souls. I WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG. This game is absolutely gorgeous, and has beautiful mechanics to make the fights flow well and the enemies not too difficult yet not just a walk in the park. I really enjoy this game, the 24hrs I have are stretched between roughly three days AND that's only because I had to sleep and go to a sea aquarium!

If you're looking for a Souls-like game then you have definitely found it! I am on my second playthrough and I am going to be going for a third (to get all endings). I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EXPLORING, and this game tickles that itch! It is very rewarding to explore your environment and those who don't will regret missing out on some amazing characters and storylines!

If you came from Elden Ring and are a filthy casual like me, then you will absolutely find that this game accommodates for all levels of skill! Just try not to spam dodge roll while being a light-roller. It is really really punishing when you forget to level your stamina and end up dying to lack of rolls/unable to run away. The only thing that pissed me off was the Swamp Monster Boss on NG+.
