The folding community has lost a dear friend. His name was Syrillian of overclock.net . We are remembering him by folding (see http://folding.stanford.edu/) in the overclock.net foldathon in his name. Few people know about or even support the research for cures to incurable diseases, but EVERYONE who owns a computer and can afford a slight bump in energy costs can DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Syrillian was one of those people all the way up to his death, and even now, I am sure his family and friends carry on his legacy. If there is something you feel you can do to help, PM me and I will get you pointed in the right direction.

As gamers, the steam community has the hardware required to do the research to help our brightest scientists get that much closer to making this world more free of diseases that have decimated life for centuries...

I like to build, mod, fix and upgrade computers and consoles, but don't get to do much of that at the shop I troll on a routine basis. Mostly I just eradicate viruses, refurbish and fix people's computers.
