About Santa: I made full single sun, collecting all the gifts and, most importantly, extra lives. I don't remember how many points I got back then, but thanks to those extra lives, I slightly exceeded the target (600k+). I did it in one run to be sure. But I think the game will remember it if you start a chapter.

Thank you for your quick answer. Do I also need to collect every present in one run for it to count for the Gift Grabber? Or can I just do whole chapters on their own and it will remember that I did them?

Don’t forget that this game has two game modes: Classic and Campaign.
I got this achievement in one playthrough (my record was 645k in Campaign). You earn a lot of points if you collect all the presents on every level. Also, if I remember correctly, your time matters too (how fast you finish levels).
Another very important thing is extra lives — at the end they are converted into points (I think 1 life = 1,000 points).
The main goal is to collect presents, even though they’re often hard to find (which is related to another achievement, Gift Grabber).
For me, the only really annoying achievement is finishing the game without taking damage (Supreme Survivor). That basically means a speedrun without collecting presents, especially on the ice levels, which I hate.
