DRB shutting down

Greetings Rats.

It's my unpleasant duty to announce that on or around January 22 2014, the current Dirty Rat Bastards server will be shutting down.

Due to lack of donations and support jono and i both felt it was best to let the current hosting for the account lapse, rather than continue paying out of pocket - we already put in a lot of time and energy.

Anyone who wishes to run the DRB server can do so by setting up a new hosting account. We chose Game Servers for hosting because of clanpay, a system that makes it easy for regular players to donate directly to the hosting account. That would be my recommendation to anyone asking.

It is with deep regret I inform you if you have not heard, that BadRat has passed away from Malignant Brain Cancer.

Everyone will miss him. Please feel free to reminisce here in the comments. Bad Rat's name was Rodney and he leaves behind a wife and son.
