This is an English-based group made for the rhythm game, Taiko no Tatsujin, a Japanese drumming music game where you hit notes labeled Don (ドン) and Ka (カッ) to the beat.

What is this community?

We are a dedicated community made for enthusiasts of the series- and we focus on maximizing your drumming experience no matter what Taiko no Tatsujin game in the series you're playing, while providing resources for players, events, forum discussions and an active social space for all players.

We also host certain Player of the Week events, where certain Donders can battle it out in a song chosen for the event, and come out on top with the highest score! Do you want to be chosen as the true Donder? Come on down, and show everyone how it's done.

Hello everyone! Thanks for joining the Taiko no Tatsujin group and being part of it since day one, we're so glad to have you here.
This is a significant update for the group, as we are officially launching our Steam Curator reviews for Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival DLC! Our goal is to provide details for every piece of downloadable content available for any and all future Taiko no Tatsujin games on Steam.

Steam Curator reviews? How does this work?

We know how important it is to know exactly what you are purchasing, and you may have noticed that NAMCO always adds that tiny notice that says that "the song(s) may be included in the Music Pass". Our Steam Curator reviews will aim to change that for future fans of the series buying DLC to know what they would like to buy or not.
Every DLC information will always contain the following:

Does the DLC contain exclusive or delisted songs?
Does it contain exclusive nameplates, titles, puchicharas, etc?

And with this extra information, you can do with that what you will. Every single review's goal is to stay factual and up-to-date with information provided by BANDAI NAMCO and Taiko Team, as well as other unofficial sources such as 譜面とかWiki (FumenToka Wiki).
※ Reviews may be altered in order to stay in line with Goodbye Songs (サヨナラ曲).

What this means for you: You can now follow our Curator page directly on Steam to see instant recommendations and read in-depth analysis before you hit the purchase button on any DLC. We hope this makes keeping up with the ever-growing library of tracks much easier and more transparent for the entire community.
