We're a group of casual gamers who don't take this joint too seriously. We're all pretty good at Left 4 Dead, which is primarily what we waste our time on. Jerks aren't allowed -- we're just some laid back folk who like to have fun. We'll play competitively if the opportunity comes up, but we're certainly not all about it. Goodbye, Servers

Just a little note to let you guys know I'm dumping the clan servers next month. I'm loathe to do it, especially knowing new DLC is coming out for L4D and L4D2, but the fact of the matter is that I've barely been playing and the server admins stopped chipping in for the server space long ago, and I'm pretty much paying $18/mo for two servers that are sitting around gathering dust. And while they might get used for a few weeks in October or whenever this DLC is coming, it's not worth it for me to keep dropping in the cash.

The invoices come around the second week of the month, so I'll be dumping it around then. If anyone wants to dump cash into the clanpay between now and then, hey -- I'll leave it open if you guys wanna pay for it. But as it stands, I'm wasting a lot of money on these things. :/

Okay, so I'm a little late for a Christmas post. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that we now have clan servers for L4D & L4D2. If you're in SiCK, then you're welcome to use them. My only request is that you try to include other clannies in your games, rather than running games by yourself on them. After all, that's why they're here!

L4D: 68.232.183.180:27015

L4D2: 68.232.169.47:27015

The L4D server is very lightly modded, and might see a few more. The L4D2 server will probably not see many mods in the short-term. The servers are located in the central US, to give maximum benefit to the majority of the clan.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "OMG, Goaziasusdo Claus, thanks for these awesome servers!" You're welcome, my chillurns. If you're REALLY happy with them, think about throwing us a couple bucks on the clanpay -- 'cause these things ain't cheap.

Want admin rights to the servers? I've got a couple slots potentially open for that. The rates are reasonable. Just IM me sometime, and we'll chat. ;)

In other news, you'll probably notice that Pyro & I purged a few members from SiCK. This wasn't because of any problems with anyone - it was really just clearing out a few members that we're no longer in contact with and haven't played with in quite a while. We figured it wasn't quite fair to offer the benefit of private clan servers to folks who aren't playing with the rest of the clan or keeping contact. Overkill got a pass this time, because when he does show up he entertains us by singing about fish ♥♥♥♥♥ in French.

That said -- got friends who are laid back, good sports, and like to play the same games we do? Recruit them to SiCK! We're not hardcore and competitive. We just want to maintain a good, reliable community of gamers to enjoy our hobby with.
