ABOUT Seraph Squadron

184th Experimental Squadron

Seraph Squadron, officially the 184th Experimental Squadron, is a neutral experimental unit comprised of mercenaries from various sources across the world. They are internally managed and do not deploy under orders or guidance from any specific country's operational command, but will accept assignment from and come to the aid of specific countries when suitable. The unit has a strong focus on cyber-warfare and counter-intelligence, and deploys all planes with the latest stealth technology available. An internal intelligence and recruitment team (INSEC) exists to handle matters within the squadron and to seek out dedicated pilots who wish to fly with them.

New recruits are vetted, whereupon a training officer will help them learn their aircraft of choice. Once cleared to fly, the pilot is free to undergo any operations or contracts the squadron accepts. If desired, the pilot can request a specialization within the squadron, such as training officer, or AWACS.

Note from flight lead:
All prospective pilots are encouraged to consider the following: Seraph Squadron may be mercenaries, but we hold a code of the sky close to our hearts. We expect you to take as humane an approach to target neutralization as possible. If a target is no longer a threat, ('neutralized' but not 'destroyed'), you are to cease fire unless ordered otherwise. Given the nature of our work, we have no idea who we will encounter in any given sortie-- management of squadron relations is crucial to keeping all of us alive out there. Don't forget, at some point that may be one of us struggling to fly back to base, and we want our reputation to protect us on that return.

Notice to pilots: please review data in regards to incident on 6/2/2022. Suggesting ground collision avoidance review, with accompanying PowerPoint explaining protocol after incident. Remember that much like defensive driving, you should practice defensive ground maneuvering as the people around you will occasionally make mistakes.
