Segment Gaming - Public

Segment Gaming was founded by Cobolt as a Call of Duty 4 team in December 2008. After playing competitively for months, the clan decided to expand into other games and was officially established as an MGO in June 2009. Competing in Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty 4 and Counterstrike Source, the teams made strong finishes in tournaments establishing a reputation and receiving some coverage. At the end of 2009 all three teams left the MGO and it closed. Our passion for eSports will never end and we continue to promote and support competitive gaming in South Africa.

Segment Gaming will be reforming with a team for CS:GO and Trackmania Nations for 2014.

Segment Gaming: back in TF2 and recruiting.

In 2009 Segment gaming, we had top teams in CoD4, CSS and TF2. We briefly entered TF2 and were represented by two different established teams (eNg and I forget the other one).

This time we're looking to build a talented team from the ground up. We're looking to get as many interested players as possible to grow the competitive community and enjoy the best form of Team Fortress 2: 6 v 6 clan matches.
