ABOUT Rusted Over

Welcome to Rusted Over. I hope you enjoy the Rust server and this community.On this server we have:

More difficult heli events to give everyone a bit more challenge
Forced wipes only (Monthly)
A large map
A chat filter with a zero tolerance policy for toxic players.
A friendly and competive community.
An active admin that is "hands off" meaning my focus will be on making sure the server runs at 100%, to keep hackers off and to moderate the community. I don't come into game and 'assist' players with in game issues, because ultimately this can be seen as me favouring one player/group over another.

Rules

To keep the server running smoothly there are a few rules:

Don't abuse me (Rusted) or anyone on the server.
Don't try to circumvent the chat filter
Don't be toxic, sexist or racist
Don't use exploits, glitches or scripting

Violation of any of these rules will lead to a permanent ban. That means the ban is non-reversible. When your friend gets banned for being a toxic jerk, don't bother trying to appeal.

The Server is Updated

Facepunch released the delayed update and the server is now live.

Wipe Day Tomorrow

The latest update comes out tomorrow morning with it a forced wipe. We've had a couple of technical setbacks getting things set up and running, but everything is running smoothly now. Players have already been on the server enjoying the huge map.

The devs have said the update tomorrow will include some performance improvments (Thank You!) and the new harborS. That's right, there will be two different ones at minimum and they look really fun.

Also, if skins is your thing, they have already uploaded several new skins to the Rust steam store and there are some pretty fun ones.

The update should hit around 6:30 am AEST give or take an hour, but rest assured that I will be updating the server as soon as possible. I'm not changing the seed, so the map should be relatively similar.

Hey guys, I used to play on Rusted over back in 2015, was just wondering if anyone is still active and willing to lend me a hand in starting a new server!
