Welcome to the official Red Dragon Corps Steam group!

The Red Dragon Corps (RDC) started as a mercenary company in Mount&Blade:Warband, after which the group moved on to Mount&Blade:With Fire and Sword. After a brief draught of decent team-based medieval action games on the market, RDC has made a very active return in War of the Roses.

More information pending, here are a few brief facts about us in relation to War of the Roses:

We value skill and teamplay equally.

-- swinging swords can take a lot of practice, but there is no excuse for running past a downed teammate on the field.

Stay with the group. Any group.

-- we play to win as a team, not to rack up individual kill counts; though no one is stopping you from doing both!

Tactics always matter.

-- adapt to the battlefield. It's not always about rushing right back into the thick of battle. Be patient, and if someone has a plan, listen and follow through with it. If it sucks, they'll know better next time.

Wear your colors.

-- the game has coats-of-arms for a reason, and we have our very own. Sport it proudly on your armors and shields alongside other Red Dragons.

We prefer Lancaster as the team of choice, but for the sake of balance or playing together will go York. Play respectfully (quit t-bagging, unless you really want the achievement), help non-Dragoncorps allies, and just overall: Kick. Some. Ass. Let's get out there!

Clan Match tomorrow! (Sunday, 9/29)

So we've got a little clan match Sunday, 9/29. Right now it's scheduled for 10pm Eastern, but due to the Breaking Bad finale, I think I'll push it to 10:30pm. It's against [KODIV] -- not really sure what the tag stands for. Knights of.. something.. death.. something something. Here are the details:

*Server will be limited to 16 people (they can field however many people, but teams will be even)
*Map will be London Tournament (big sand thing in the middle for horses to run rampant)
*We're Lancaster (yay, though not that it matters)
*99% sure game mode will be Pitched Battle, not Team Deathmatch. This means you get 1 life per round. If you get executed: you're out of the round.

One little mindset change from regular public games we play: REALLY keep an eye on your teammates, not just the enemy. Everyone's job will be to make sure you stay close to the group. Other than that, everyone should just play their best class and have some fun with this! Let's do this! (RDC) > [KODIV]!
