This is the Overclock.net Battlefield 3 Steam Group.

To add BF3 to Steam, add orgin as a "non-steam game", rename orgin to BF3 by right clicking on orgin and going to properties within your steam library after you have added orgin as a non-steam game.A fter you do that, start BF3/orgin from your Steam library and you will then be able to use steam in-game with BF3 as you would for any other steam game.

So I guess this is pointless. The BC2 steam group was pretty big but looks like that does not transfer over to BF3.
