Welcome to [NVS] Gaming. A young gaming community on the scene with big dreams. Originally formed in late 2011 as a would be TF2 team, when life got in the way, NVS went dormant. Now with new doors opening, NVS is back and bigger than ever before.

Now packing professionaly hosted servers rather than our previous system, the community is poised to offer all the fun loving attitude we emerged from!

Would You Like to See Singleplayer Mods on the Minecraft Server?

I've been looking into how the bukkit API works for a little while and it seems it might be possible to get singleplayer mods working in the multiplayer environment.

The problem is, any player joining the server would be required to have these modifications installed into their own client.

So the question is this....

Singleplayer Mods such as industrialcraft and buildcraft added to the server with the trade off of downloads required before joining?

or

Keeping to standard minecraft and being open and easy to join?

What are your opinions everybody?

Pre-Emptive Performance Upgrades on Minecraft

Heya Folks!

After our previous commundrums with minecraft, I've gone and requested the host swap out the parts that had failed rather than repair them, as has happened at the moment.

However, they would not do so of their own expense.
Seeing as this was a chance to upgrade the components if I had to pay for it anyway, I've gone ahead and financed improved parts in the server which should be installed in the near futute ^^
