What is MelonRP?
MelonRP is a semi-serious Half-Life 2 roleplay community powered by the impulse framework (*impulse HL2RP*).
We're open to everyone and aim to bring Half-Life 2 fans the semi-serious roleplay experience they deserve!



Getting Started
  • Register on the Forums with Steam — MANDATORY to join the server!
  • Read the Rules to understand semi-serious expectations.
  • Join Discord for whitelists, roles, and support.
  • Pick a role: Citizen, CP, OTA, Resistance, or event-based.

Start as a Citizen — learn city law, earn rations, meet others, and uncover the world’s secrets.



Features
  • Classes – Citizens/CWU/Rebels, Civil Protection, OTA, Administrator, Vortigaunt & Zombies.
  • Crafting – Search the city or Outlands for items, craft alcohol, tools, and weapons, and gain experience.
  • Experience – The more you play, the more experience you earn to unlock new classes and ranks.
  • Discovery & Danger – Explore sewers and Outlands for loot or shelter... but beware of deadly Zombies and OTA patrols!
  • CWU Jobs – Become a medic, shopkeeper, cleaner, or factory worker when the shift begins to earn more tokens.
  • Property – Every apartment you buy includes a private chest to store your loot. Beware of Combine inspections!
