NEWS! Game servers update! Plus Info

Hello EVERYONE.

Last night, EU time, all servers were updated and are running fine as far as we can tell. We've also updated details in all Steam group topics related to game server software updates. We've been making significant changes to the game servers over the past few months, and were rolled out last night. You can read all the changes below. Read it carefully to understand what's happening.

🌟 Despite our frequent advertising on various platforms and automated messages in the game servers, many players are still unaware of the convenience of keybind.

With keybind, you don't have to type ANYTHING in your chat during the game! You just press a key of your choice on your keyboard, and you get what you want. This way, you can play very quickly. There's a dedicated topic that explains exactly how to set up keybind. This topic also contains all the new commands. If you can't figure it out, ask us via Steam or Discord. We're happy to help. For Discord, you must be a verified Steam member, so read the instructions when you join our Discord channel. The link to the [L4D-Elite] Commands & Keybind topic is at the bottom of this post.

🌟 This achievement has been available since December 15, 2011. Every year in December, all game servers, including Valve game servers, automatically activate the Gift Grab. Our game servers add a special feature to this with a special plugin.

Survivor players will see additional Gift Grab packages after killing a Special Infected. If you, as a Survivor, walk over the package, you will receive additional rewards. These rewards do not apply to Special Infected players. The Gift Grab will be available on our game servers from December 1, 2025, until January 11, 2026.

🌟 There are many questions from players regarding VAC and GAME bans. Players with a VAC or GAME ban on their Steam profile cannot play on our game servers. This applies to all VAC and GAME bans dating back 15 years. These players are not banned by us, but automatically blocked by the game servers. The game servers automatically retrieve the information from Valve's data servers. It doesn't matter which game someone received a VAC or GAME ban for, and any disputes about these records being incorrect should be handled with Valve, not us.

🌟 Whenever you join our game servers, you are automatically placed on the Special Infected team. This is intentional. The goal is for the Special Infected team to eliminate the Survivors team before they reach a safe room, or worse, escape in a final.

If a player thinks they are good enough at L4D-L4D2 and want to take on the monsters on the Special Infected team, they can switch teams. A maximum of four human players can play on the Survivors team. You can switch teams a total of 8 times.

🌟 Besides ensuring our game servers are well-protected against cheaters, we have had special additional settings in place for many years. Our voting system is completely disabled. The voting system is not necessary on our game servers. If you do use the voting system, you will automatically be kicked from the server after 3 attempts as a warning. You will not be banned.

Team kill: Disabled. Our game servers are for FUN, for everyone, except for children who feel the need to kill their own teammates. Don't try, as it's considered childish bullying. Admins can intervene if you do try.

🌟 Every year, our game servers transform into a winter and Christmas atmosphere. From Friday, December 19, 2025, to Sunday, January 11, 2026, it's that time again. We'll also include our well known crazy days somewhere, but that's a surprise. Details will follow soon.
