These past few days I’ve played with the majority of players on the team and from looking back on demos and analysing them I have found a lot of concerns about our team which if addressed will be what gives us that boost into the MG ranks. There are 3 major topics I'm going to go over.


Issue 1
Economic Management


Something gave me great concern from my first games with players within the team was that the understanding of the economy was quite lacking. I mean as you could notice in games we would either get completely destroyed or we would destroy them. This is all to do with our economy. I’m sure everyone will have watched EnVyUs playing. They have a very wild economic style which is exactly like ours. What they do is force up, Alot. When they were LDLC and they won Dreamhack 2014 that was because of their ability and high skill ceiling with pistols. Sadly this meant that when their skill ceiling dropped and teams figured out how to play against them. They were easily destroyed by teams causing there slump in early 2015 and their roster change in early 2015. This is what happens to us. We force buy every round and it puts us at risk when either were not hitting our shots or the other team is hitting theirs. Issue 2
Scoreboard and overall evaluation of your Impact


One thing i have noticed is morale issues coming from the scoreboard. A lot of players think they’re playing badly or get mad because they’re at the bottom of the scoreboard. This is one of the biggest hurdles which if you overcome will make you a much more effective player. Just because you aren’t at the top of the scoreboard doesn’t mean you’re not impacting the game. Some of the greatest players like Pronax, Ex6tenz and Xyp9x rarely ever top the scoreboards in games but they’re some of the most effective players. Pronax was the main reason why Fnatic were so dominant. His mid round calls and timeout speeches were what made fnatic such a powerful team. Ex6tenz is arguably one of the best IGL's of all time and is by far the best IGL in France. His hardcore tactical style have allowed all of his teams to compete against the best in the world and his Titan team with KennyS was the only team that was able to consistently compete against Fnatic on a regular basis back in late 2014 and early 2015. Finally Xyp9x is one of the best support players in all of CSGO. His nade usage allowed Dignitas and later on TSM and Astralis to monster teams by setting up the stars Dupreeh and Device. Really there are not any videos that can help but i would recommend unbinding the scoreboard so that you can't see it. This really helped me and has allowed me to focus my game and not have my emotions be an in game issue.

Issue 3
Controlling emotions of anger within the Game


This last issue is something everyone can relate to. Everyone has gotten mad after not getting a clutch or a teammate making a mistake. It may not seem like it but i used to be a salty ♥♥♥♥ in CSGO. I would make mistakes and rage or get picked off by a CT and constantly rush him every round trying to get a kill and would lose my team round after rounds. Personally i think the best way to get around this is learn from death. Every time you die take a few seconds to just relax and breathe, then analysis what happened. If you died peaking an angle think of ways to get an advantage whether it’s a flash or double peaking with a teammate.

This last bit is just a collection of small problems which don't have much detail:

If you are going to use any sort of nade make sure to call it

If you see an enemy instead of saying "A they're A" say "2 pushing A." This simple difference in call can cause important rounds to be lost

If you are getting really mad just mute your mic and just rage to yourself. Raging at teammates can extremely put down their performance.

Saving a weapon is sometimes a lot better than going for retakes. Make sure you fully analyse the situation and if there isn’t going to be enough time just save.
