Forward to the Battlefield of the Backlog

We're here to help with that backlog. Be it suggestions for games to play next, help on a sticky point in a game, support on not falling back into that MMOG habit, whatever.

The big rule is no gifitng someone right after they are done with a game. The point is to feel like we're making headway, not to make each other feel like Sisyphus.That doesn't mean you can't ever gift. For the time being, it's suggested that "3 beaten, 1 gifted" is the metric we'll go by. Let's see how that works out for us.

There is, of course, no rule against you buying new games yourself, but if you need some reasoned words to the pro and cons without the pressure of feeling like you're begging or going to be immediatly be hit with a gift, this is the place to be as well. A good suggestion to go by is, "for one game beaten, you may buy one game". It's not going to decrease your backlog all by itself, but it at least keeps the number at equilibrium.

Past that, if you're here, you want to help people whittle down that pile of games. How you do it is up to you.
