ABOUT Elemental: War of Magic

Elemental is a fantasy strategy game set on a world filled with magic and ancient lore. Rule a fledgling kingdom and expand it across the world through a combination of magical power, military might, diplomatic skill, technological advancement and bold adventuring.

As sovereign, you begin as the only being in your kingdom still able to channel power from the shards of magic, a series of mystical artifacts left over from the cataclysm.

You must decide how much of your power to imbue into your heroes as you build new cities, explore dungeons, perfect spells of ever increasing power and negotiate with friends and foes.

Victory can be yours through conquest, magical supremacy, diplomatic alliances or the completion of the master quest.

Second E:WoM Steam Group

Seems a second E:WoM steam group has been created as of June 9. I've sent invitations to the admin in hopes that we can actually keep one centralized group here on steam. This will facilitate MP games better (unless the new Impulse is THAT good).

That said, I actually expect that as the game nears completion, a bunch of Elemental groups will pop into existence.

Beta 2 possibly this week.

It kind is in a sad state of affairs. Considering Sins and GalCiv. However, they are offering the next expansion free to people who bought it, and i have faith that it will live up to its promise. that and it should be re-released.

I don't know about anyone else, but this game was such an utter disappointment to me. I understand that it will EVENTUALLY become something, but it should have been in better shape than this.

I was in the 1st stage of beta also, but others had warned that what seems to happen is that after the full release, you are so burned out on the game taht you end up not interested in playing it. I am hoping that Brad and company inject this title with more personality tahn they did witht he Gal Civ series. With tha in mind, I have held out on playing the beta. It also seems likely that the game will not be released until Feb. 2011.
