Smod Truth is an offshoot of the usual modification done to the Hl2 single-player campaign, based on the fully advantaged Smod 5.6. The story is based in the middle east, when a marine seargant is taken hostage in the back of a van after a heated gunfight with saudi arabian terrorist forces in kuwait. You are taken to a strange Gtmo style camp where you attempt to make an escape while marines are storming in shooting at whatever moves. As the game moves along, you find yourself clinbing through rafters and cooling systems, and finally falling into a sewage tunnel, just as marines burst through the underground area as well. You are shot once, and incapacitated. after they find out who you are, they RTB immediately. You then find yourself 6 months later in an armored,bomb resistant truck. You are on a mission to find the man who captured you and killed your squad in afghanistan,in a tribally controlled region near the north of the country. In the entire scenario,you are armed to the teeth.
