I would like to say thanks to those who participated in our first contest!

Because we are hoping to increase participation in the group, we decided that the winner of the first contest would receive player of the week. From here on out, player of the week will be used to recognize those who go above and beyond the usual in teamwork, group participation, and companionability. Being a good player means more than winning games!

ah, but the reason behind this is because we're awarding participation in the group... a good player doesn't just mean someone who always wins. A good player also has other values like fairness, teamwork, effort, etc.
