You might be asking, "What is a comment war? Why should I care?"

The Comment War is a day [Wednesday] which was established by Oats and Rebel. On this day, Steam users go onto other people's accounts (that have joined the Commenr War group) and post unusual comments about another Steam user that is an offense. Note that we must strongly encourage the rule #1. Yes, there are rules to this epic event, and the rules are followed:

1. The comments must be mean towards the other person, but nothing involving the offense to their gender, ethnicity, or sexuality or any crude humour that can be considered, "Too far".

2. You must make one comment per person, unless they have retaliated with a comment to you. Once they posted a comment on your profile page, then you can write another comment.

3. If they do not comment back, you must NOT retaliate.

4. If you are currently in a Comment War, you should not talk about the Comment War in instant messaging or E-mail. The Steam users must look onto their profile page or the opposition's profile page.

5. Do not post comments involving the comment war to Steam users that are NOT in the Comment War Steam group.

6. If you make a comment involving the Comment War, you must add a "{C}" followed by the person's Steam name, without quotation marks, before your comment.

7. You can only make comments every Wednesday (as stated above). If you are found to be posting before or after Wednesday, you are to be reported to the administrators immediately.

8. If you are involved in the Comment War, you must make your comments section available to the public for Comment War members to attack you with.

If any of these rules are broken, you will be subject to severe consequences.
