Clean H.O.U.W.A.R. Owners

More than five years after its release, the H.O.U.W.A.R. has finally become tradable since the February 29, 2016 patch.

Before this 2016 patch, many of the hats had been gifted and traded as the most deluxe currencies for years in the TF2 history, leaving the gift sender name and gift date tagged with them.

The gift sender name can be removed since the December 17, 2015 patch, but the gift date tag can not. Valve has chosen to hide the date tag from its own sites, like profile inventories, community market and TF2 in-game backpacks, but sadly not from Steam API. The gift date tag can be shown by many third-party backpack websites, like TF2B, TF2TOOLS and TF2OUTPOST.

The number of the H.O.U.W.A.R. is very limited from the beginning, around 400 in total, but most of their original owners chose to sell them before they became tradable, unfortunately leaving the gift date tagged ever since. In order to encourage people to protect the few clean ones, this group is going to gather the owners of clean H.O.U.W.A.R. without gift date tag.
