All bronies and furries must obide by these rules. Those who fail to do so will receive a warning, then temporary ban. If you persist, you will be punished with "cupcakes"...

-No yiffing/roleplaying in chat
-All mature content must be marked NSFW
-No arguing over who is the better pony. OCs are welcome at all times.
-If somepony doesn't get on with a fellow fur/brony, please take it somewhere personal.
-Pinkie owns your soul. No exceptions.

I couldn't be sure what the story was and how serious [FURRY] was being; at the time I was doing other things and happened to notice the update.
I don't consider myself to be a hater/butthurt at all, but it did come to my attention that some people would be, which is the main reason I created this group. I'm not trying to be a better group and/or shun pony haters at all, I just figured it would be a good idea to combine two fandoms. After all, even the furaffinity banner tried to make light of that joke.

Even though I agree that the joke was bad, I don't think it's enough of a good reason to create this group.
However, I do agree it's a good idea for this group to exist, because there's always people in both fandoms that seem to be hated on because they like both things.
So, a group for BronyFurs is a good idea for being a group where people that like both fandoms can be together, and enjoy what they like without being bothered, and not for being a response to that stupid joke.
Those are my thoughts.
