Eight makes one team!

Ateez ( Korean: 에이티즈) is a South Korean boy band formed in 2018 by KQ Entertainment. The group consists of eight members: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San , Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho. The group debuted on October 24, 2018, with the mini album Treasure EP.1: All to Zero. The group performed their song "Pirate King" on Music Bank on November 2.

As of January 2025, Ateez has released eleven mini-albums, four studio albums, twenty-four singles, and one single album in Korean, and two single albums, three mini-albums, and two studio albums in Japanese. Their albums Treasure EP.Fin: All to Action, Treasure Epilogue: Action to Answer, the album tetralogy Zero: Fever, Spin Off: From the Witness , the album trilogy The World, and Golden Hour: Part.1 and Golden Hour: Part.2 have all topped the South Korean Circle Albums Chart, with Zero: Fever Part.1 becoming the group's first album to be certified platinum [and The World EP.1: Movement becoming their first album to be certified million in the country.

The group reached number one on the Billboard 200 with their second studio album, The World EP.Fin: Will, and has repeatedly topped the Billboard Top Albums Sales chart. They also became the first South Korean music group to have three consecutive releases reach the top 10 of the UK Albums Chart within a single year.

Ateez is often referred to as "Global Performance Idols" by Korean media, and was named "Next Generation Leaders" by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea in 2020. The group has sold over seven million physical albums worldwide. Their accolades include the Fan Choice Award at the 2019, 2020, and 2023 Mnet Asian Music Awards, as well as grand prizes (bonsangs) at the 4th Fact Music Awards, the 30th, and the 31st Seoul Music Awards. In 2024, they also received the Grand Honor's Choice Award (daesang) at the Korea Grand Music Awards. The group has also served as official global ambassadors for Korean culture and tourism.

In 2024, Ateez became the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella, as well as the first K-pop group to headline the Mawazine music festival in Morocco.
