Metro 2033 Roleplay

Ashen Roleplay takes the enjoyment of roleplaying in a fictitious world but adds a bit of a twist. Instead of following a static timeline most roleplay servers use, but we decided to always make it change and evolve. We will be running our server through years of events that take place, some part from the book and others of our own creation, and build a truly unique Metro server.

We will be posting newspaper reports about what is happening in the Metro and keep you up to date on current things happening inside and outside the Metro tunnels.


The two warring factions at the start of Metro 2033 are the 'Red Line', who are Communists and want to form a united communistic metro, and the 'Forth Reich', who want a pure metro clean from all human mutations and imperfections, which both are wanting to obtain total domination over the Metro. For now while these two factions are head to head there are stations in the Metro that are caught in the cross-fire but not always literally. The Metro Economy, prices, trade routes, and travel tunnels are affected by these battles. Tunnels can collapse blocking trade routes and leaking radiation into the tunnels or water could be polluted from dead bodies left to rot from the conflicts, and the world is always changing. Every week there's something new happening to the Metro, sometimes small changes and other times huge ones.

Ashen Roleplay tries to offer players an truly unique experience allowing the player to make his or her own choices while living in a truly dynamic world that tries to make it feel new every time you play. In the Metro, players are faced with the fear to leave the metro stations for dying results in loss of gear, memories, and currency in the Metro, bullets. This system is used for the idea that people in the Metro are often truly scared to for what is outside the station gates. Players are encouraged to build their characters story doing odd jobs here and there to make it by the best they can. Players are released into the world and allowed to write their own stories but be careful, who knows what's in the tunnels?

Weekly events will be held every Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. These events can be from an hour or expand over a three day time period. Each event is different and depending on what happens the Metro changes in someway or another, but you'll just have to wait and see what will happen.

To continue to peak your interest, in the coming few months we will be releasing a surface server infested with mutants, but best of all is the loot. Those who head to the surface and die leave their remains behind, left to rot, only waiting for someone to collect what they no longer need. Currently as we are in the development period and we are building ideas for the surface server, but so far there may be weekend events that take place on the surface allowing you to peak at our surface map.
