Finding maps and organizing custom games

The Alien Swarms Customs Group is a Steam group designed to help Alien Swarm players find quality custom levels, campaigns, and mods, as well as teammates to play them with.

HOW IT WORKS, SHORT VERSION:
-Post announcements about QUALITY Alien Swarm custom content you've tried
-Rate posted content in the announcement's comments to
-Find people to play custom AS games with among the group members

HOW IT WORKS, LONG VERSION:

In this group, ANYBODY can post and edit events or announcements (don't abuse it or the privilege will be removed). Announcements in this group are like posts for a map. If somebody tries a map and is impressed with its quality, they can make an announcement about it so that other members of the group can find it easily. If you like a map you found through this group, you can leave a comment on its announcement rating the map and giving some pros and cons. Essentially, this group is like a "good maps filter" for sites like Swarm Armory.

Obviously, co-op games are no fun to play by yourself, so if you need somebody to try out some custom maps with, you can just head over to the group's player list and ask different players if they want to play.

Hopefully, this group will be relatively self-sufficient - users post good maps and find other users to play with.
