Ok so we covered many things, some of which were previously discussed in and out of the channels, but there were several things that were brought up that needed to be said.


Ranking System Alterations:
We will no longer segregate the Dayz SA, and Dayz Mod ranking system, which further increases an invisible clash between the players who play the separate games. In an effort to move forward and create a unified community the separation of U.S Military, and U.S Marine ranking system will no longer be used. It was voted that we will now only be using the U.S Military ranking system for both games.

The ranking system is not to BOSS around other clan members or give reason to look down at fellow members, we will not tolerate abuse of the chain of command. just because a teamate holds a higher rank it does not mean they get to dictate the rules. (although in game if a higher ranking officer who has been given tactical command requests you do something that is mission critical, then you must follow your senior officers command)

The ranking system is simply designed to ackowledge those in the group who are commited to excellence, and growth within our community. these players who hold righer ranks have additional pressure to perform, and lead by example helping those out who are new to the game or the clan/community. we fully expect each and every member to respect each other, and follow the chain of command in the GAMES that they play.

IN OTHER WORDS - if you do not play the Standalone or the MOD, and play one of those games - IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT to enter the other channel and tell people who you dont game with what to do just because you hold a higher rank.

Abuses of rank will result in immediate suspension of that rank and/or demotion in the ranking system. PERIOD


Chain of Command - Complaints and Gripes
Griping system, following chain of command - If you have concerns about another team member or are having problems we fully expect you to talk to your ranking officer - this means if you are a private, and you need to speak to somebody about a problem you may be facing, please speak to the next higher ranking officer. If your problem is with that officer then move to the officer that is next above him - however if you complain about an officer and did not follow the chain of command rule we will be less inclined to take you serious - after all if you can follow the rules how do you expect us to - be fair to the chain of command rule, and respect the process.


Teamspeak Clan Code Of Conduct:
Ruled on code of conduct and server behaviour; respecting admins, and fellow clan mates. Psycho made it clear, that we will not tolerate negative behaviour that invloves but not limited to; bullying, sexual harrassment, character assassination (calling people names, and making negative remarks) towards fellow members.


Teamspeak issues - Lodging complaint agains Disrespectful members.
WE ARE NOT BABIES! and although some of our members are young we are not LITTLE CHILDREN so we expect you to speak to people how you would like to be spoken to. If you are experiencing bullying, verbal, and or written abuse by one of your teamates. you can simply right click on that persons name and lodge a complaint, or if it is really seriou find an admin and we will deal with it.


Steam & [A.B.K] - Displaying clan tags in/out of game:
We are proud to be part of this community, and work hard to make it a place everybody wants to come to so.... we fully expect members to display the clan tags [A.B.K] in front of your steam name is required at all times, and well in game.

- on a side note make sure you check the members list and add the members onto your account so we can follow each other into games, and get to know one another better.


New Teamspeak Server:
We are very fortunate enough to have psycho go out of his way, and fund the move to another larger teamspeak - our current TS only holds 30 slots, and sometimes not everybody can get in at once. Now thank to you guys, and the increased use of the TS Psycho has gone out of his way and we now have a 500 slot TS! this will enable us to grow, and create more channels for the future squads to use eliminating those 20 man in one room confusing nights which I know we have all experienced. So thank you Psycho for beleiving in us ,and going the distance.

Teamspeak community, and non clan related users:
As we have a great deal of new comers, and allies of the A.B.K we cant expect everybody is going to want to be a member, nor do we want just anybody so the public use of our server is still allowed. if you have a friend who you want to game with no problem come in and use the server we welcome anybody to come and game with us! our doors are always open.

Weekly and Monthly meetings:
We want to check in with members, get some perspective on the week to week events, and things that happened so we have voted and Fridays will be our new meeting time.

The weekly meeting are NOT MANDATORY meaning if you cant make it dont worry, but if you have time, please stop in we want to hear from you, and its great to see everybody in the same room at the same time. so I encourage you all to make these meetings

the Monthly meeting will be tentative meaning when we schedule it could change based on the needs of the group. so AGAIN do not freak out, just simpley post, and let us know why you cant make it, we just need to know in advance.


Member removal:
we have trimmed the fat so to speak, and removed members who did not bother to inform us they were not attending. its a respect issue, and expect to do just the minimums, and communicate with us. In case you did not know who the people are you can talk to its your next ranking officer or an admin who are as follows

Also any JRB member can remove a problem person for you so dont be afraid to ask them for help.

A.B.K new members:
If you have friends that you game with, and would, please by all means have them come in! we want new members! recruiting is how we stay alive! and keep this community growing. They do not have to be a member or a candidate to come and play with us! but once they do, they will see this is a place where everybody comes to each day because we are striving to make it a great place for all gamers to come to. So recruit your asses off! lets build this thing together.


Summary:
We talked about a great deal of things that day, and it was a long time coming. This is a lot of info to take in, and as we go forward 3 hours meetings will not be nessesary. We understand that each of you have lives and schedules to follow. Some of us can be in here more than others, we will not kick or remove you from the clan if you cant play daily. If you can only make it once a month it doesnt matter! we want you to stay a part of this community, and feel that it is okay to be able to come and go.

So please DO NOT WORRY about not being able to attend all of the meetings. I dont want to see this boards filled up with concern and worry. all that we ask if that you use the forums, and let us know if you cant make the monthly meeting. that is all that we ask of you. so RELAX! and have fun

I want to bring this all back to the reason why we are here. GAMING - so now that we have established some of the things that needed to be said, lets get back to the core reason why we are here... and please have fun, and do your best to be a part of something great!
