Welcome to the Unturned Steam Regular Group

Today at 6:01 PM EST will mark 4 years of this group.

Like the previous years, here is a retrospective for the last 2 years as we did not celebrate our 3rd anniversary.

The past years have seen the group wane and our Golden Age is long gone. There have been some events, but the group is not nearly what it once was before. We currently find ourselves in the midst of a worldwide pandemic that have affected all of our lives. More members have left and the founding father of the group, Salvguard (previously known as That Guy You Don't Know) has left the Steam group. The Steam forums are a wasteland and a shell of what they once were, as are the Unturned subreddit and the SDG forums. Many of us are not interested in the game anymore or its sequel, progress on Unturned 2 has been sluggish. However, the group has become very tightly knit, some of us have become almost like brothers to each other. Some big events that have transpired include more drama surrounding the controversial figure everyone is now familiar with, Rain. Rain's group has disintegrated from internal affairs and external war. His Discord account was later suspended after his little campaign of anarcho-communist propaganda everywhere, brigading, making out of pocket statements, doxxing a kid's email, and getting himself on the FBI and Interpol's radar. Just Rain being himself. Colonel Crossfire and ex-member Salamander have been completely isolated from the community due to their behavior. Salamander, as some of you may know him, is over the top with his edgy behavior and has been very toxic towards some of our members, even making Fiddle (now know as Snepecc Cookie) to leave the Discord. In the 4 years that he has been a member of the group, he has retained his childish edgy self while everyone else grew up. He left the Discord after being pinged with many memes that mocked him, the decision was also made to revoke his membership within the group because of previous incidents dealing with him. Such incidents include harassing innocent people, spamming gore and just being toxic. Crossfire has been looked down upon by the community for just being overly rude and the stereotype of a bad redneck. Like Salamander, he left the Discord after being pinged with memes mocking his behavior. Unlike Salamander, he keeps his membership in the group as he is not as low as him.

Everyone has developed more, as we've grown up over the past 4 years, some of us even entering college, university, internships, and even getting full jobs. Like our 2nd anniversary, here is an evaluation of how we've grown. Elisonn has gone from nazbol Russian to a nazbol femboy, quite a regression. Mallard has become more chill, no more spamming oof or "no u" like he did years ago, he's also developed a love for Elite Dangerous. Effectism has become an electrician and is surviving in Minneapolis. ShiSponk is even more active and her humor has evolved. Me and Doy man have listened to each others' music and expanded our tastes, Doy has also begun studying to become a mechanical engineer. Chris has returned and gotten a new PC. Shuiro has begun streaming on Twitch. Deus is still the local German janitor of Unturned Official. The past 2 years have seen Armaros become an active member and he is known for being oddly obsessed with anime and cars. Wakko has become inactive and so has Oyamat. Steve has found new work and is still around. Cheeto also got a new PC (and a hot new gf) and has begun playing more. Dank pimpin polish chicks now too. Gibbys is still Gibbys and some new members introduced from SDG have become settled in the group.

I will also be hosting a giveaway for this group I'll be pouring in some of my own items into the giveaway. Anyone interested in donating items to the giveaway should comment on here or message me and we'll plan it out. I will wait a week for everyone to respond and then I will make a follow-up announcement to see who would like the enter the giveaway.
