The Free Republic of the Transvaal, a courageous nation ruling South Africa for the Benefit of all

The Parliment Building of the Free Republic of the Transvaal is built to reflect the Republic's Importance in world affairs. A powerful, imposing structure, built to illustrate our nation's power, it is beautifal and imposing- a true testament to the ingeneuity and daring of the African People.
The structure itself is built on an island, surrounded by a lake. Artifically constructed, and fed by a vast system of canals to mantain the supply of water, it streches for a kilometer around the building, with 3 roads leading onto it- Representing the 3 ways that it would be possible to reach our continent, by Land, by Sea, and by Air. Each raod is built of fine stone, a shining white pathway out to the central island.
Here, the Parliment itself is located. A circular building, created of the finest marbe to reflect the purity of our nation's ideals, with a column for each of the 64 African States (Incorporating recently conquered French States). The roof of the structure is that of a dome, built in a style similar to that of the Roman Pantheon. At the top of it, in the center, is a glass opening, through which natural light can flood the chamber. It does however, have various blinds and such so that it can be diffused properly.
The Council, and the Senate, are located in two rows, the smaller being the Council below. Each surrounds the central podium, where the President of the Republic, or a designated speaker is positioned. Rows upon rows of seats are positioned in a spiraling pattern about the central chair, where the democratically elected representatives of the Republic lead the Legislative branch of the Republic.
On the ceiling of the dome, are psotioned murals, reflecting the various cultures that comprise the Republic. From the jungles of the Congo, to the Sands of the Saharan Deserts, to the Fertile Grasslands of the Home Regions, all of the people of the Republic are represented.
