Ali “Jame” Djami is somewhat of a newcomer to the top tier of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, with his first appearance in a team notable for Liquipedia being 2017, in the team “Hala Ares”. This team was playing in the CIS Minor Qualifier of the PGL Major Krakow 2017, with some players still teetering around the Tier 3 scene these days including Pavel “PASHANOJ” Legostaev and Ilya “tr3vl” Globa.

Ali’s first shot in the limelight came quickly to an end, due to one of his teammates, Bogdan “naumoff” Naumov having a VAC ban which was discovered during the CIS Minor Qualifier.
