If you just use campaigns can safely IGNORE CONFLICTS messages you'd get in addons menu, but if you have other mods that change other stuff in the game is recommended to disable them all before to play, just in case.

How to INSTALL a custom campaign (generic infos):
Go in the Left 4 Dead 2 Workshop
http://eo.steamhost.cc/steamcommunity_com/workshop/browse/?appid=550
Type the name of the map that you want to download in the search box.
Subscribe to it (steam will automatically download the map file).

How to REMOVE campaigns that aren't in rotation anymore (optional):
Unsubscribe maps you don't need to use anymore and game will delete them.
(need to run game and let it load\check addons stuff to make it delete them)
