Is the time of Renewal at hand?

So, with a great weight off of my chest, I am shutting down this group.

Note that I never intended to make a group as an administrator. I make TESRP groups because I want the roleplay, but other people are unwilling, or unable to make them. I want to participate myself, and the administrative burden, short of dealing with lore, applications, general documentation, and announcements, I hate all of it. It's all a massive burden largely bared by players who need their hands held for every little thing.

And I want to give a special thank you to the multiple players who have requested administrative time and effort, and not even once posted an announcement or publicly roleplayed. I really appreciate you wasting people's time and not even contributing to the group after having your wishes processed.

I would also like to thank the powergamers among you, whom, instead of conducting meaningful character roleplay and interaction, treat the group like a Paradox Interactive game. The purpose of TESRP is meant to be both a character and nation roleplay, where people interact and base their politics and interactions on their characters. Thus, this is a special thanks to those among you who cared nothing about actually roleplaying, and instead endeavored to just collect numbers all around Tamriel to you can flex your big e-♥♥♥♥ because you bothered the administrators about inflating your numbers more than the other playerswhilst still contributing nothing to the group overall.

And finally, I would like to thank those of you who made the most out of the post-apocalyptic setting. I'm glad everyone loves your characters, I'm glad you speak for your respective nations, I'm glad your nations in the wake of utter destruction are so prosperous and amazing, the likes of which Tamriel has never seen before. Thank you for letting people get immersed in this setting, so much that people who were originally going to make their applications reflect the post-apocalyptic nature of the world but were deterred because everyone else was powergaming themselves to have flawless, already-rebuilt nation states.

Thank you to all the non-administrators who participated in Summerset Isles, I would like to thank both sides for being unreasonable and not open to changing something for the opposing players. Obviously, civility must be cast aside. Clearly, it is better for one side to make the other quit rather than conceding anything, and likewise, it is clearly better to quit(even all roles!) all because one thing didn't go your way. I want to thank you for your maturity and open-mindedness.

You all seriously surprise me. You surprise me to how ♥♥♥♥ you are. This has been the most boring and inactive, and yet most administratively demanding group I've ran. Just a year ago, with Peace in Peril, I greatly enjoyed what we had, and I was able to roleplay quite a bit, as even those whom were administratively demanding, such as Bastone, still interacted a lot with other players. And a few of you have been good with being active, good roleplayers. But the rest of you consistently refused to actually interact and do anything. And I openly admit that I've shirked my duties administrating here, as have the other administrators, because overseeing stupidity all day is simply boring and so easy to cause burn-out that it simply isn't worth it to devote time to the group.

It's amazing how much the quality has eroded in just a year. Even when I was fourteen and with a bunch of illiterate cretins in Oliver's group, we still had fun and were able to use common sense to create entertaining groups with almost no administrative assistance. You are all infinitely worse than a bunch of preteens and early teenagers.
