Me (LOLGuy213), BOB Jones, Magdaz and Kirito (not the one who used to be Senetic) are setting up a server to fulfill the “SC3 Reunion” we’ve all been waiting for over the past couple of weeks.

It is called Razor Tune Gaming.

We have a logo, forums, TeamSpeak and a potential developer who can help us out.

However, we need help from past SC3 members/veterans!

Over the past week, we have all been debating about what path we should take in making the server.

BOB Jones’ idea is that we save up for a “dedicated box” (costing ~£50 a month) by starting up a DarkRP server with addons (as we already have some DarkRP addons ready to set up relatively easily) and after we make a decent-sized community there, we buy a dedicated box with donations which can host multiple servers and THEN branch out into a Jailbreak server.

The other idea, proposed by me (LOLGuy213), is that we make a “basic” Jailbreak server (we don’t get many addons, just the basics required for the Jailbreak gamemode) and then over time add more stuff to it (knives, pointshops, skins etc etc) to make it more like SC3.

The problem is:

If we go with the DarkRP way, we will could get a decently sized community and then divide it when creating a Jailbreak server (just like what happened with SC3) and we would be alienating the community who want OG SC3 back.

If we go Jailbreak first, then take it as it comes, we will not get as many players as DarkRP would give us, and the lack of content (in the beginning it will mostly be Vanilla Jailbreak) might cause the gamemode to become “boring”.

Please can you reply to this thread telling us how we should go around this situation:

Would you be happy with us making a DarkRP server AND a Jailbreak server?

Or make a Jailbreak server and focus on building upon that?

What would you guys play and what should we do?
