Hello Everyone! hope the past few years have treated you OK. I Graduated from College, Moved to Vegas, Became a Bartender, Laid off due to COVID, and am going to be working in Corrections soon,

I'm sure most of you are still in this group out of just forgetting to remove it. However, for those of you looking for something new I'd figure I would put this announcement out. Me and about five others have decided to take up creating a new server around the Combine VS Rebels HL2 Format. The whole premise will revolve around the Combine keeping control of the city and the rebels and resistance constantly trying to get one over on the combine. Some of the features already available are:

- Semi-Serious ranking format for Combine, Resistance, Research branches. (Roster and SOPs to keep track of everyone in an organized fashion)

- Ranking system with higher levels giving access to civilian jobs and more advanced rebel jobs for people who want to RP as civilians. We also have Combine Experiments that are playable and can break out and wreak havoc on the Combine and Rebels.

- Keypad access system: With only certain jobs having access to certain areas of the map to help give a more realistic division in Chain of Command. Of course keypads can be hacked through deploy-able crackers allowing people to still fight as they try and break into locations under lock and key.

- Virus System: Researchers will be testing on the experiments and be creating different strains of viruses to be sent out on the civilian or even combine population if Administration wishes. Heading into infected areas or the sewers may make you susceptible to disease and may cause you to bring that sickness to other civilians.

- Rioting System: Rebels and Resistance just being able to raid the citadel wasn't enough. Systems are in place so the resistance may take over the entire city by means of a riot. While only resistance or rebel leaders can initiate one everyone can get involved and pick a side.

- Quests, NPCs, And Civs: Quests are available(more to be added)giving people the chance to make money early on. Some quests will require completing work for other NPCs. AI Civilians, rebels, and Civil Protection will roam the street making even empty areas feel more alive. All will react when gunfire may erupt causing them to run away or try and take you down.
