Left 4 Dead 2 Modified Server

Server modified for 8 player coop with things balanced around it or just to make the game more fun.


• Up to 8 players can join the server in coop campaign or survival.


• Server can spawn up to 8 specials at once, and with reduced cooldown. Basically Hard Eight is enabled on the server.


• Both survivors and infected get access to perks that they can choose


• Weapon changes to make sure underpowered weapons were buffed and other stat changes to better fit the buffed infected


• Bots now have better reaction time and aim. Same goes for special infected bots, so watch out. Bots also now pick up defibs and items as well as try to revive dead players.


• Tanks now spawn on a timer of 1 tank every 3 min for a max of 6 tank spawns per chapter. In addition to that, 2 tanks now spawn on the finale at once for l4d2 character campaigns and some l4d1 character campaigns. Witches will also be spawned wherever a witch slot is placed on the map.


• Light system is introduced so that players can use it for cosmetic purposes or just to enable better vision on dark maps. Type !light *insert light colour* or !light *insert light hex code* to pick the light theme of your choice.


• Friendly fire system has been adjusted to match new weapon and perk stats. Bullets and melee will no longer deal friendly fire. Explosion damage and fire still do. Exception is the AWP sniper rifle which still does ff.


• With an item held out, press the reload key to give it to other players or swap with what they have equipped if they already have an item in that slot.


• To prevent needless suicides, everyone starts at full hp and with kits at the beginning of the chapter
