Nerds With Beer started off as a small group of Counter Strike:GO players trying to make it to the pro leagues. We had an awesome set of people among our clan. On 09/26/2016 founding member "Amp" or Zach Woytovich was killed after a head on collision with another vehicle, he was killed instantly upon impact at 27 years old. One of his goals was to grow this casual clan as a place for people to relax and have fun, myself and the other founders have taken it upon ourselves to see out Amp's goal of providing a nice chilled gaming atmosphere where all types of people play all types of games.

We are all 18+ with the founding members being in our mid 20's, we don't allow anyone under 16 years of age to join as we advocate the use of alcohol and discussion topics can range to more mature content. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis as decided by admins/members.

We are not a "SUPER SRS" clan and we aim to get a lot of variation in the ranks providing more variety for other games. We do support your competitive goals however! Every official member is granted a team speak channel with full channel moderator authority.

We don't have any set rules on how to behave, the only things I won't allow are wannabe thugs and young children.

So, we casually invite you to join our tight knit community, across various old and new games to simply play, chill and chat with knowledgeable and mature members. We do have nights where we may drink/smoke and chill/chat. Most of us work full-time so we aren't always available. Add Zodiac/Stevo/Led for any questions or concerns regarding the group.
