Ok, here are some pricing options for server.

-pingboosted 500+fps ($1 slot/month or $.80/quarter)

32-player w/ 4 Core Affinity (NYC) = $32/month ($76.80/quarter)

32-player w/ 8 Core Affinity (NYC) = $42/month ($100.80/quarter)

32-player w/ Dedicated Core (NYC) = $67/month ($181.80/quarter)

-tickrate 66 pingboosted 500+fps ($2 slot/ month or $1.60/quarter)

32-player w/ 4 Core Affinity (NYC) = $64/month ($153.60/quarter)

32-player w/ 8 Core Affinity (NYC) = $74/month (177.60/quarter)

32-player w/ Dedicated Core (NYC) = $99/month ($258.60/quarter)

These are only basic configurations. Player slots and location are open to discussion. Let me know what you think is our best option and feel free to donate on the -MEG- website. Personally, I think we should avoid a 4-core and step up to at least an 8-core (what we were running before). But if we can get enough support, a dedicated core would be our best option.

Everyone has been giving pressure to get the server back up and running and, as this semester is winding down, i'm willing to spend some time and money to get it back up. But the cost of maintaining the server is a little more than I can bear alone. Any donations can be posted on the -MEG- Clan website (http://www.squish.viviti.com). If we can generate some funds in the next few days ($30-40 will cover at least half), we can get the server up this weekend. Post any suggestions for the site (player slots, # of cores, plugins) on this group page.
