Dead Island - Riptide (Thursdays 8:30 to 11:30 until completed)

I'm going to host a session of Dead Island: Riptide to play through in four player mode starting Thursday May 2. If you want to play I ask that you commit to showing up weekly during the time slot. I know the time slot is late, but it'll help those of us with young children to finish our day before we begin.

The first Dead Island had an excellent coop campaign, fun combat and great character advancement

A while ago we ran a weekly Borderlands game from beginning to end with a consistant 4 person team. When I asked people to come and play it with me we had enough intrest to run two groups. Since we have almost 2 full weeks to get player for DI:R we may be able to get a second or even 3rd group up and running.

Sorry I haven't coordinated this better this week; I've been without internet during my move. Let's see who shows up tomorrow with a copy of the game to build the first group.

I think we should start from 1. We'll have the coop players to help us out and it should keep the play field equal even for people who haven't played DI.

What would be better? Start from character level 1 or import old characters?
i heard the dificulty its unforgiving for leveled up characters hehe

Cool. There are now 10 people in, some of which aren't able to play on this schedule. We certainly shouldn't have any trouble getting at least one group going and likely two if people are interested. Also we still have a while before the start date for more people to join. If you know anyone who'd be interested, you can invite them too.
