Iron Brigade

About the Brigade
Iron Brigade was established 7th of July, 2018 by Colonel Fenton as unit in the very popular mod for Mount and Blade called North and South. Residing within the Confederate States of America, otherwise known as the CSA, with overall command being under Major General Francis. This steam group is to now serve as a reminder of what once was and as a memoir to the NaS community.

The Iron Brigade also known as The Black Hats or The Iron Brigade of the West is one of the most celebrated military organisations of the American Civil War. Originally envisioned as a all Wisconsin Brigade it also had a Indiana and Michigan regiment. Noted for its strong discipline, its unique uniform appearance and its tenacious fighting ability, the Iron Brigade suffered the highest percentage of casualties of any brigade in the war.
