Haukworks - Aliens vs Predators

What we do here is we offer our AVP gamers a different and unique way to compete competitively, while building a community of related gamers.

I'll explain the main feature here:

- The Prestige System
Much like "Turf Wars", "King of the Hill" or in Call of Duty words "Headquarters".
For the launch... each week the 3 races will compete on a certain map, the winning race will take control over that map and will be printed down as that "Races Turf/Property".

- Fortnight Champions
Each week before or after the prestige event, the first that sign up for these event regardless of what race you are, will be booked to compete in AVP's very own Predator Hunt and Infestation challenge.

The guys across the pond have not got there grubby hands on AVP, this leaving the rest of us waiting and hating!

First things first, we have 9 Aliens, 9 Preds and 7 Marines. This in my opinion is a decent number of players, lets not forget the "RebNet" has a player cap of 18, so we'll be damn safe to say we have enough players to get things rolling for sure!

I would like everyone to help advertise, spread the word... get out there and bring in a new player!. I am counting on this game to help give us a boast in players, also please see. Advertising Thread. I ask from all players here to give one of the adverts a bump! (Steam, GameFAQ and Sega) There all fresh ads waiting to be stalked!

Now moving onto something more for us and the website. Soon I will be announcing the first event, this will be a "Challenge" event. Just keep your eyes open for the announcement with details.

Sadly enough, our dear hosts will not allow me to install a "Ts3 or Vent" server, so we will have to either borrow some space or rent our own. I gues we'll have to stick with Steam Voice or Skype for the time being, but for now... a poll will be posted for everyone, so pick which chat server you would wish us to use.

Missing files can mean corrupted files, so you may need to check the net for these files, I'm sure someone will have posted game files for AVP.

Guys i still cant get the game to work :( i feel im gona cry several days after and i still cant run it, ive re downloaded it already and ive spent the whole day, over 4 hours validating and re validating and every time it gets 2 files 1 file and so on it never ends, but worst of all it never works! im trying to run dx9, but doesnt matter if its 9,10,11 it just wont do. hope someone can help
