The process will just be some training.
The ranks will go as written:

1. Cadet
2. Officer
3. Corporal
4. Sergeant
5. Staff Sergeant
6. Sergeant First Class
7. Lieutenant
8. Captain
9. Major
10. Assistant Chief
11. Chief
12. Commissioner
