This groups was meant as a general place for players / modders and developers to be able to communicate on what a reasonable way of crafting a game and its features is.

Theres been a lot of Issues with game development and production in the years 2015-2019 with lootbox gambling, restricted / profitted modding etc.

So we aim to make a place for reasonable dialogue on game development and production so we can maintain a healthy and trustable relationship between players and game developers, or at the very least a place for players (consumers) to discuss and define what we find reasonable so we can present those thoughts to game developers and publishers.

I guess theres also a side objective here as well, which is to inform players of their Consumer Rights generally, so if a game dev / publisher tries to pull a fast one, and screw customers with some illegal commerce practice, then those players will know whats happening at least, then go on to make a post in the group and inform other players / customers of that game or its dev / publisher.

Or possibly collaborate legally if necessary, cuz the only thing that stops a company from doing something commercially illegal is a customer to think to themselves "ya im pretty sure this is illegal already or relates" then acting accordingly.

(although we should really have a website or something just for it, instead of a group within a platform involved with the topic at hand, but maybe future wise)

Entertainment Industries Intentionally Being Attacked / Destroyed? - 7/10/2020

I think we have all seen the irrational treatment of certain products in the different entertainment industries, whether thats Video Games, Cinema, Comic Books, and now even Anime / Manga etc.

So it turns out there "may" be a collaborated effort to effect these industries for personal or subjective reasons.

By now if you are even slightly involved in this situation you have probably come across websites like The Mary Sue, or ResetEra, which facilitate much of this cohesion, but it more than likely stretchs to other platforms like Facebook, Discord, Reddit with Private Groups, however it happens tho its something to make note of as a consumer when your products are effected this way by people that dont even like it.

which we have seen destroy some beloved entertainment over the last 5 years, usually through the guise of "diversity" while its more about forced Socialism of the industry and its community of players / customers.

this channel usually covers more Comic Book industry affairs, but have also mentioned many of the industry standards that come off feeling more like Socialism than a Captialism, with 1 direct line of publishing being controlled by said small groups, with such and advantage its not even feasible for another organisation to attempt the same business without doing it the exact same way, which last i knew wasnt Capitalism, and this is also the group headed for the Anime Committee attempting to clear Japanese productions for western releases.

theres also a video here going over the production in EA on the game Anthem that crashed, which makes a good example of how they try to run Dev Studios like Socialist sweat shops, they know there isnt as much benefit to outsourceing the production of a game to sell in the US, so instead they just try to work their US citizens like that (-_- )

heeeeeeere we go. . . this is what has been talked about and its finally here, EA is the 1st company to tell users that they dont own their game copies they bought, they are just renting access to it for as long as they agree, now if you dont agree your games are stripped from you and you can no longer access them, which is illegal already but since the law is so slow and Video Games are so new, the normal laws arent being applied as they should.

if at any time in the future a Software Plaform / Service User Agreement is updated, there should legally have to be an option for the user to disagree which blocks them from any further use of anything from said platform / service, but still keeps their game files that are launch-able without the program. (or the user would just use the software in offline mode basically without being able to access the softwares online / update services)

a company cannot make a UA and get customers to buy products from their digital storefront and then change it on them later forcing them to agree if they want to keep their content they already paid for

this is what is mentioned in the Geoforce Now annoucement and many other, and it wont be long till Steam and everyone else wants to do this too, the only way to stop it and get reasonable terms back is to fight for it as consumers.
